a dialogue from the korean grocer, the product in question www.amazon.com/Oroshi-Shoga-ginger-paste-tube/
the couple behind me in line: What do we use this for?
the cashier: What do you mean?
couple: This ginger we are buying. How do you use it?
cashier: Why are you buying something if you don't know how to use?
couple: We love ginger. Are we supposed to put it on sushi?
me: It's just ground ginger in a tube, you use it as you would normal ginger. It's not the kind you use for sushi.
couple: Ok, but what food do you use the ginger on?
me: Fish, meat, anything.
cashier to other worker: Can you answer their question?
other worker: It's ginger that is convenient because it is already ground up. Sometimes I mix it with soy sauce.
cashier: Ah, I had no idea. I've never used this before. (it's a japanese product, not a korean one)
couple: Oh, soy sauce. The way you use ginger is you mix it with soy sauce. Let's take this ginger home and mix it with soy sauce.

When I heard there would be a festival, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I had no idea there...
