Beans!

What do you get when you plant late and the summer is cool? Beans in November! Adam gave me a handful of these to plant in my garden before he moved to Rhode Island. The bounty isn’t great, but it gives me enough to try again next year, and get a yummy meal or two.

They’re called scarlet runners, and the coloring is really pretty.
