One thing most people don’t know about me is I did a lot of needlework when I was little, mostly cross stitch and sewing. I’ve had an odd hankering to do some embroidery lately, though it’s not in my skillset.

Peter’s folks are currently in Vietnam. I’ve heard of liquor from there with snakes and scorpions in it, but I guess his dad drank some with a blackbird. Weeeirrrddd!

So, in the Portlandian esthetic, I put a bird on it. Time to completion, about 4 hours.
